Shelbie was born and raised in California, and earned her MA in Counseling Psychology from California State University, Sacramento. Since graduating, she has lived in the Midwest, the South, and now the Pacific Northwest, and as such has worked with many different populations. Shelbie is most experienced working with older elementary and middle school students who have been placed in self-contained classrooms, providing one on one and group therapy. When not working, Shelbie can be found spending time with her husband and children, studying the Enneagram, snuggled up on the couch reading a book, or cheering on her favorite football team, the 49ers!
