With a dedication and commitment to social justice, equality and inclusion, our mission is to provide exceptional mental health and substance use treatment to all people.
We created this clinic to be something special and to change how behavioral health services are offered in our community. With values rooted in a DEI lens, we currently offer a variety of services, including individual therapy with kids, teens, adults and families, couples counseling and equine facilitated work.
Whether you're experiencing a significant life transition, you're "having a hard time" and feeling extra stress in life right now or your mental health symptoms seem to be getting worse - we promise to be there for you every step of your journey. We know how hard it can be to find someone who "gets it" and our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Our focus is to help individuals identify the problems and struggles in their life, become aware of their inner strengths and create a solution-focused plan to help you move forward. We will help you do this through a thorough assessment and evaluation process, creating a personalized treatment plan with you and providing evidence-based clinical interventions to best meet your needs.
Life is personal.
Therapy is personal.
We also know that everyone and everything we've experienced helps shape who we are. We are a team committed to social justice, equality and inclusion and welcome ALL people to our practice. Our team stands with LGBTQIA+, BLM and persons of color. We support individuals, families and couples in ways that affirm your beliefs and values, shared experiences and our community as a whole.
Depression and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience in our lives. Counseling can help you recover the motivation, perspective and joy in your life while learning skills to make life feel a bit more manageable. Our team uses a variety of evidence-based counseling techniques to help you manage your symptoms and learn new skills to help navigate life in a healthier way.
The last two years have proven that we are all resilient. It's also shown us how challenging changes and adjustments can be, and how important relationships are. Whether you have been navigating job challenges and stress, relationship issues, losing a job, graduation and new employment, parenting, grief and loss or other adjustment issues, counseling is a great way to process these feelings and find a sense of control and calm in the storm.
We all adapt differently to trauma. Many people may seem to "move on" while others experience negative symptoms associated with their traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, sadness, and hopelessness are common emotions that can linger after a traumatic event. We can help you learn how to overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
