Megan received her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and neuromuscular science, from San Francisco State University in 2015. While working alongside children with developmental disabilities in an occupational therapy setting, she was able to witness the helping profession firsthand. She then transitioned into a role working with adults with developmental disabilities in a vocational program. This is when Megan found her passion in working alongside others. Megan moved to Portland, Oregon to earn a master's degree in social work, and has experience working with children in a clinical setting as well as supporting individuals and families with grief and loss counseling. Megan holds the belief that all people have the ability to create change in their lives given the right tools and a growth mindset. When in session, Megan focuses on holding a non-judgmental stance while providing active listening to find solutions on an interpersonal level. She uses compassion by offering a safe space to share thoughts, emotions, and to create person centered goals alongside clients. Megan is currently a CSWA and working towards independent licensure while under supervision. When she's not in session, Megan enjoys backpacking in the beautiful PNW or spending time with family and friends. Megan is currently working with ages 5+ and their families.
