Kristen grew up at the beach before moving to the PNW to attend college, where she received a bachelor’s degree in history. After raising a child and working in the non-profit and healthcare fields, Kristen is completing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Concordia University Irvine. Kristen values the collaborative therapeutic relationship between counselor and client and actively works to foster equality within her counseling relationships. She uses a variety of counseling skills in sessions with an attachment and trauma informed lens. Kristen is passionate about helping you develop the power and resilience to break cycles of dysfunction that get in the way of living your life with authenticity and self-compassion. Kristen enjoys the process of learning your stories and then using those stories to help you see yourself with greater clarity and self-compassion. When not in session or studying, Kristen enjoys anything related to history and archeology, knitting, weekends at the coast, and connecting with family and friends.
